I always find it hard to go through and put away the most recent set of clothes that the kids have outgrown. There is something a little sad about seeing the little piles of clothes that they won’t wear again, as if I am neatly folding pieces of their childhood away. There are many clothes [...] About once a month (twice if it is a good month) I pop into my local fabric and quilt store, Blooming Stitches, for some fat quarters to add to my stash. I love going there for many reasons, but mainly I find it to be a cheerful place with friendly, helpful people (like the proprietress, [...] I had so much fun with the pink/orange block, that I decided to see what I could do with the blue/green fabric that I have on hand. I’m feeling a quilt top coming on. :~) I am delighted to be taking part in Project Improv which the very talented Jacquie over at Tallgrass Prairie Studio has so generously put together. I signed up to make a pink/orange block. All of the blocks that are made for this project will be put together in quilts for charity. Here is my contribution.
